Cincinnati CPCU - Volunteers Needed for Good Works Project at Matthew 25: Ministries

The Cincinnati CPCU Society Chapter would like to invite you to participate in a group volunteer activity put on by the Good Works Committee. 

Matthew 25: Ministries is a humanitarian and disaster relief organization that provides clothing, nutritional food, water, and personal care products to impoverished or disaster stricken areas locally and around the world. Each year, they collect and distribute over 15 million pounds of donated items to areas in critical need. Volunteers play an essential role in the work of Matthew 25: Ministries through their help preparing goods for shipment in the warehouse. 

Please invite family and friends to join us on Saturday, July 29th from 9:00AM - 11:00AM as we help to evaluate, count, categorize and package donated goods. There is a job for everyone. The work will be light duty in nature and children are welcome to join per the following guidelines: 

All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

· Children under 8 – 1 adult for every child

· Children 9-11 – 1 adult for every 2 children

· Children 12-16 – 1 adult for every 3 children

· 16 and over – may work alone, but if in groups of more than 5 an adult must be present 


Please plan to arrive by 8:50AM in the lobby. Our volunteer coordinator will meet us promptly at 9:00AM to take us to our work station. Parking lot is available for volunteers. 

DONATIONS BEING ACCEPTED - Matthew 25: Ministries will gladly accept any donations for non-perishable food, personal care products, cleaning products, first-aid items, and baby products, so please feel free to bring any of these items with you. The only prohibited products are furniture, glassware, and electronics.

NOTE: All new volunteers or returning volunteers who need to update their record will need to print, fill out, and bring the attached completed volunteer registration form (one per family).
