Greetings to all members. As my first message to you as chapter President, I would like to thank everyone who encouraged me to serve on the board of the Cincinnati Chapter.
I earned my designation in 2004 and immediately became involved with the chapter; serving on various committees. I quickly realized that I wanted to do more, so I began progressing through the officer chairs.
Serving the chapter is a great and enjoyable experience for me. The fun and friends I have made by far outweigh the work serving on the board entails. Therefore, if you are not currently volunteering for our chapter, I urge you to consider doing so.
A few weeks ago the chapter officers and committee chairs met to plan the 2010 – 2011 year. I am happy to write that this year will be jammed packed with education events, networking/social opportunities and of course, Insuring the Children's Have a Heart Gala. I hope you are able to attend all!
I am pleased to report that for the 8th consecutive year the Cincinnati Chapter has obtained the Gold level Circle of Excellence!
