WHAT WE'VE DONE

Here is a recap of what CPCU has been up to:

Social Media Breakfast Meeting

On February 18, 2010 many of us gathered at the Chubb offices to learn more about Social Networking. You've heard people talk about Linked In, Facebook, Twitter and blogging and that they CAN be used in business. In the Social Media Essentials workshop, Marsha Egan concentrated on increasing our understanding of the power of social media. She focused on tips and strategies to use to promote your business through powerful tools; such as blogging, microblogging (Facebook & Twitter), and Linked In.

Ethics Breakfast Meeting
We hope you enjoyed our program this morning, Ethics and Employment in the Age Of Social Media.  We've received several messages today commenting on how enjoyable the program was and we'd would love to share these with the Chapter at large. As you will all know after the shining endorsement this morning, we have a group for the Chapter on Linked IN; we would greatly appreciate it if you'd take a moment to share your thoughts about this morning's program.  What went well?  What might have been overlooked?  Was the topic correctly advertised?  Was it pertinent to you?  We'd love to hear your feedback on these questions and anything else which might be on your mind after today's event.

Future programs can only be made better with feedback from you.  Take a moment to add a comment about this event, you'll be glad you did when you did down at our next event.  You can jump directly to the discussion on this event here.

Thanks again for your participation,

Brian M. Schmidt CPCU, CIC
